Well done and thank you to our team of - Carolyn Gamble (Toowoomba), Roslyn Darton (Warwick), Di Laverty (Bell), Marg Hayward (Chinchilla), Wendy Rhea (Warwick) and Sandra Weinthal (Toowoomba) who represented our District at this event.

 

They were one of 9 teams and played 3 days of golf in varying conditions - cloudy, wet, fine - at RACV Royal Pines.

The format played over the 3 days was a 2 person scramble for all divisions followed by 2x stroke rounds for Division 1 and 2 x stableford rounds for

Divisions 2 and 3.  In each round Order of Merit scores were awarded to the best eclectic round of the two players in each division. In addition each team received a team score based on the team performance in each event.

 

Daily prizes were also awarded to individuals and on Day 3:

Di won the Division 2 Stableford with 37 points.

Marg finished third in the Division 2 Stableford with 31 points on countback.

Sandra won the Division 3 Stableford with 34 points on a countback.
